Terms & Conditions

The Regulated Family community exists for parents and teens navigating ADHD and neurodivergence together. Everything here — from the strategies we share to the way we talk to each other — is built on the idea that your kid's brain isn't broken. It just needs a different framework.

That said, this is a real space with real boundaries. Those boundaries protect everyone: you, your kid, and the integrity of what we're building together.

This page explains how The Regulated Family actually works, what we expect from each other, and what happens if you need to step away.

Important Legal Information

What This Coaching Is — And Isn't

I'm a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with nearly 20 years of experience in disabilities and ADHD support. That's my credentialing. It doesn't make me your therapist.

The Regulated Family (and the larger entity of The Regulated Rabbit) is coaching, not clinical treatment. Nothing I offer through this community is a substitute for medical care, psychiatric evaluation, therapy, medication management, or any form of clinical mental health treatment. If you or your teen need those things, a medical professional is the right person.

Coaching is support, strategy, and accountability. It's me helping you understand how your kid's brain actually works and giving you tools that fit that neurology. It's powerful and practical — and it's not therapy.

If you or your teen are in crisis, having thoughts of self-harm, or need immediate mental health support, please contact a crisis line or emergency services. Coaching cannot substitute for that care.

Liability

The Regulated Rabbit provides coaching services for educational and informational purposes. By joining The Regulated Family, you acknowledge that:

- Participation in this community is voluntary

- You are responsible for seeking professional medical, psychiatric, or mental health care when needed

- I am not liable for outcomes, decisions you make based on strategies discussed, or any consequences that follow

- You use all strategies, templates, and resources at your own discretion and risk

How The Regulated Family Works

What's Included

Your membership gives you access to:

- Monthly parent group coaching calls — live strategy sessions for parents, recorded and added to the library for later access

- Monthly parent trainings — deep dives into specific topics (executive functioning, rejection-sensitive dysphoria, time blindness, etc.), recorded and available in the library

- Monthly teen life skills trainings — recorded sessions for teens on regulation, social skills, self-advocacy, and practical life skills

- Biweekly drop-in office hours — 15-minute 1:1 coaching slots with me (scheduled or drop-in with waiting room)

- The Family Group Chat — private community space for questions, wins, resources, and connection

- Resource library — all recorded trainings, worksheets, templates, and strategies

- Member discounts — reduced rates on additional courses, resources, and 1:1 coaching packages

Billing & Cancellation

Monthly membership is $97/month.

Your membership renews on the same date each month that you originally subscribed. If you subscribe on the 15th, you'll be charged on the 15th of every month.

>>You can cancel anytime, before your next billing date, and you'll retain access to the entire community until that billing cycle completes. So if you subscribe on the 15th and cancel on the 16th, you keep full access until the 15th of next month — then your access ends. That includes the group chat, library, office hours, and trainings.

There are no refunds for past months. If billing issues come up, contact me directly at [email protected].

If you rejoin the membership later, you'll pay full price. Founders pricing applies to current members only.

Community Guidelines

This space works because everyone shows up with basic respect and honesty. That means:

Confidentiality

What's said in The Regulated Family stays in The Regulated Family. This includes:

- Names, details, and stories shared in group coaching calls

- Personal information discussed in the group chat

- Anything posted in office hours

Don't share what someone else said without explicit permission. Don't identify other members in conversation outside this community. This is how people feel safe enough to be real.

If you want to share your own story externally (on social media, with friends, etc.), that's your choice. But other people's stories aren't yours to tell.

Recording Policy

Parent group coaching calls and trainings are recorded by me and added to the resource library so you can access them anytime. If you have concerns about being recorded, you can submit questions in the Q&A section or message me privately. You can also sign up for 1:1 coaching at a member discount rate.

Office hours are not recorded. Those 1:1 slots are private.

Teen trainings are recorded, but no teen images or names are captured. The content is available in the library, but edited to protect teen privacy.

If you attend a live training or group call, you're consenting to being recorded for library purposes.

What Happens With My Resources

All templates, worksheets, strategies, videos, and materials created by me remain my intellectual property.

You're welcome to use them:

For your own family

With your own therapist, doctor, or counselor

To share the concepts with others (in your own words)

You cannot:

Sell my resources (as-is or repackaged)

Remove my branding or claim them as your own work

Use them as the core offering of any business you run

This protects the work and keeps it honest. If you want to build on these concepts professionally, let's talk about what that looks like.

Teen Participation

Teens are part of this community. They attend monthly trainings and can use office hours for 1:1 support.

Parent consent is required for teen participation. During onboarding, you'll confirm that your teen is welcome in this community and that you've let them know what to expect.

Teen trainings are recorded (no images or names captured). This protects privacy while keeping the content accessible to the community.

Office hours with teens follow specific protocols:

All sessions are scheduled in advance or use the waiting room for drop-ins (so I'm with one person at a time)

No recording

Sessions focus on coaching, not therapy

If a teen is in crisis, I'll recommend they involve a parent or professional

What Happens If Someone Violates These Guidelines

This community only works if everyone respects the boundaries.

If you violate community guidelines — confidentiality, side-promotion, intellectual property theft, abusive behavior toward other members, etc. — here's what happens:

- I'll reach out and explain what happened

- We'll talk about whether this can be resolved

- If it can't be, or if the violation is serious, you'll be removed from the group chat, and all future membership access is canceled

There are no refunds for the current month if you're removed.

I take this seriously, and I hope you do too.

How to Cancel Your Membership

Canceling is straightforward.

In the portal there are step-by-step instructions to do so. If you have further questions, you can reach out to me directly at [email protected]. Include your name and the email associated with your membership. I'll confirm the cancellation and your access end date.

You'll keep access to everything until your next billing cycle completes. After that, all community access is removed — group chat, library, trainings, group coaching, and office hours.

Questions or Issues?

Billing questions or payment issues: Email me at [email protected]. Don't let a payment problem slide — let's fix it.

Technical access problems: Email me at [email protected] with details about what's not working.

Community concerns (confidentiality violation, conflict with another member, etc.): Email me at [email protected]. I take these seriously and will respond within 48 hours.

Final Note

These guidelines exist because I want this space to stay real, protected, and useful for everyone in it. Your membership is a commitment to being part of that.

Questions about anything on this page? Ask. I'd rather clarify now than have confusion later.
